Spirited Carlos Alcaraz beats Novak Djokovic in thrilling final to win Wimbledon

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Serbian Tennis legend Novak Djokovic in one of the highly contested Wimbledon finals on Sunday to lift the iconic Grand Slam title here.

In a match that went down to the wire and left the spectators thrilled, Carlos beat his opponent  1-6 7-6 (8-6) 6-1 3-6 6-4.

Interestingly, Novak was never defeated on Centre Court for 10 years.

Carlos achieved another important feat with the win as he became the youngest Wimbledon champion since Boris Becker in 1986.
