Serena Williams clinches French Open beating Lucie Safarova

Paris, June 6 (IBNS): Serena Williams continued her dominance in the world of Tennis as the American star defeated Lucie Safarova to clinch her French Open title here on Saturday.

Serena beat her opponent 6-3, 6-7, 6-2.

She had earlier won the title in 2002 and 2013.

This was her 20th Grand Slam title.

Her Czech opponent was playing her first grand slam final.
