Sania Mirza crashes out from Australian Open after defeat in doubles second round clash

Melbourne: Australian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her doubles partner Anna Danilina crashed out of the Australian Open second round after being defeated by Belgium's Alison Van Uytvanck and Ukraine's Anhelina Kalinina here on Sunday.

The match lasted for little over two hours.

The Indian and her partner were defeated in the match by 4-6 6-4 2-6 margin.

This was Mirza's last major Grand Slam clash.
