Saina Nehwal reaches World Badminton Championships final

Jakarta, Aug 15 (IBNS) Giving good news to Indians across the globe on Independence Day, Badminton star Saina Nehwal cruised to the final of the Badminton World Championships here on Saturday.

She defeated local favourite Lindaweni Fanetri in the semi-finals round.

Saina defeated her opponent 21-17, 21-17 to reach her first  Badminton World Championships final.

She will face Spain's Carolina Marin in the final clash.
