Sachin lashes out at Greg in his autobiography
New Delhi, Nov 3 (IBNS): Cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly lashed out against former India coach Greg Chappell in his forthcoming autobiography “Playing It My Wayâ€, media reported.
It has been learnt that Tendulkar described the veteran Australian cricketer as ‘ringmaster’, who imposed his ideas on players.
According to the excerpts released in the media, in his autobiography, the Indian batting legend also wrote about the spat Chappell, who was then the coach of the national Indian cricket team had with skipper Sourav Ganguly over the former’s reservation about Sachin’s batting position in the one-day team.
Earlier in the previous excerpts that was it was revealed that Tendulkar wrote about the dark days he survived in a career.
He has dwelled on the frustrations he faced during his reign as captain -- a phase which is considered the biggest debacle of his otherwise enduring love affair with cricket.
“I hated losing and as captain of the team I felt responsible for the string of miserable performances. More worryingly, I did not know how I could turn it around, as I was already trying my absolute best," Tendulkar has been reported to have written in the book.
The autobiography is slated to be released worldwide on Nov 6.
