Royal Challengers Bangalore all out at 166
Bengaluru, April 13 (IBNS) Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were bowled out for 166 runs in 19.5 overs in an Indian Premier League match againmst Sunrisers Hyderabad as middle and lower order batsmen fail to chip in with substantial contributions here on Monday.
After starting the innings strongly by virtue of Chris Gayle(21) and captain Virat Kohli(41), Royal Challegers Bangalore failed to capitalize on the impetus in the middle and death overs.
Apart from the two openers, AB De Villiers(46 off 28) was the only batsman who showed some promise in the RCB line-up. The South African captain hit 5 fours and 2 sixes during his knock.
Trent Boult was the pick of the bowlers for Sunrisers Hyderabad as he took 3 wickets while Ravi Bopara and Bhubaneshwar Kumar notched up two wickets each.
Sunrisers Hyderabad need to chase down 167 runs to win the match in the second innings.
