Rishabh Pant taken for scans after ball hits his left elbow: BCCI

Sydney: Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant was taken for scans on Saturday after he was hit on the left elbow while batting in the second session of the third day's play in the ongoing Test match against Australia.

"Rishabh Pant was hit on the left elbow while batting in the second session on Saturday. He has been taken for scans," BCCI tweeted.

Pant contributed 36 runs with the willow in the first innings.

India were bowled out for 244 runs in the first innings.

Australia took a 94 runs lead.
