Islamabad, Feb 25 (IBNS) Putting months of speculations to rest, Pakistan government have finally approved their Cricket team's participation in the World T20, to be hosted by India, due next month, according to reports.

Pakistani daily Dawn News quoted The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan as saying that he is pleased with the development but has asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to make special security arrangements for the national team.

"I am pleased that our Government has given its consent for our team to visit India. As a duty of care, we have asked ICC to put in place special arrangements for the Pakistan cricket team while in India," Khan said.

100 Pakistani fans are expected to travel to India to support the national team.

"We will also be expecting visa facilitation and other arrangements for the Pakistani fans wishing to visit India for the ICC World T20 2016," Khan said.
