Barcelona, Apr 23 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Leander Paes and his doubles partner Daniel Nestor bowed out of the Barcelona Open tennis tournament after being defeated in the hands of Spaniards David Marrero and Tommy Robredo in the first round clash.

The Indian star and his partner were defeated by their opponents by 7-5, 6-2.

Paes’ bid for his 700th doubles match win received a jolt with this defeat.

He will need to wait for another tournament to achieve it.
