Oval Test: Umesh Yadav power India to reduce England to 139/5 at lunch on day 2

London/IBNS: An early strike by pace bowler Umesh Yadav powered India to reduce England to 139/5 at lunch on the second day of fourth Test at The Oval here Friday.

In a fiery bowling, Umesh clinched three wickets upfront to give India an edge in the first session.

The three wickets came in the form of Joe Root, Craig Overton and Dawid Malan.

Malan scored 31 while Root's journey ended at 21.

The two batsmen, who are now unbeaten and taking on the Indian pace battery, are Ollie Pope (38*) and Jonny Bairstow (34*).

India were bowled out for 191 in the first innings.
