Netherlands beat Ireland in WT20 qualifier match

Dharamsala , Mar 13 (IBNS) Netherlands beat Ireland in a ICC World T20 Qualifier match by 12 runs here on Sunday.

In a rain-hit match, which was reduced to six overs per side, Netherlands posted 59 for five on the scorecard and then restricted their opponents at 47 for seven.

Paul Stirling remained the only Irish batsman to reach a double figure mark with his 15.

The remaining batting lineup failed significantly in the clash.

Riding on Stephan Myburgh's 27 runs, Netherlands scored 59 runs on the scorecard.
