MS Dhoni's parents test positive for Covid-19, hospitalised

Ranchi/IBNS: Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's parents have tested positive for Covid-19 and they have been hospitalised, media reports said.

Dhoni's mother Devaki Devi and father Pan Singh have been admitted to a private hospital.

The former Indian skipper is presently in a biobubble playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Dhoni's CSK will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Wednesday evening.

In the biggest spike in daily cases, India recorded 2,95,041 new cases during the same period while 2,023 people have died apparently due to the virus.
