MS Dhoni signs Sunil Gavaskar's shirt on request after CSK-KKR IPL clash

Chennai/IBNS: India's cricket icon and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is speculated to be playing his last Indian Premier League (IPL) season, took a lap of honour post match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here on Sunday.

In the middle of his lap, Dhoni was interrupted by cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar who requested the World Cup winning skipper to give his autograph on his shirt.

As per the request, Dhoni signed on Gavaskar's shirt and gave a warm hug before they parted.

In all praise for the 'Captain Cool', Gavaskar, who does the commentary, said, "Players like him come once in a century, not even once in a generation."

However in the match, CSK were on the losing side as they were defeated by KKR by six wickets.

While CSK are well placed at number two spot in the IPL standings with 15 points, KKR are on the brink of crashing out of the playoff race.
