Moyes to be sacked as MU manager?

Manchester, Apr 21 (IBNS) Manchester United manager David Moyes might be sacked, media reports said on Monday.

"David Moyes is facing the sack as Manchester United manager with the club’s owners, the Glazer family, preparing to call time on the Scot’s disastrous tenure at Old Trafford,"  the Daily Telegraph reported.

Following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement as Manchester United manager, Moyes was appointed his successor.

He was given a a six-year deal.

United spokesperson, however, said Moyes has not been sacked by the club.

When pressed on whether the manager would leave before the end of the season, the spokesperson told BBC, "we do not comment on speculation".
