Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh inaugurates Women’s International Polo Tournament

Imphal:  Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh recently inaugurated the 6th Women’s International Polo Tournament  at the Mapal Kangjeibung.

Singh tweeted: " Pleased to inaugurate the 6th Women’s International Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung. "

" With two international teams participating, the tournament is being organized as a part of the initiatives to save Manipuri Pony as well as promote the game of Polo," he said.

Speaking on the issue, BJP Manipur tweeted: "Today, the 6th Women’s International Polo Tournament was inaugurated at Mapal Kangjeibung by the Hon. CM of Sh @NBirenSingh, accompanied by distinguished guests including Hon. MP@MaharajaManipur; Hon. Ministers Sh@KonthoujamG, Smt
@KipgenNemcha ; Hon. MLA L.Rameshwor Meetei."
