LSG triumph over CSK by 6 wickets in high scoring IPL thriller

A half century from Quinton de Kock and a late firing by Evin Lewis and Ayush Badoni enabled Lucknow Super Giants to chase down a target of 211 against Chennai Super Kings with six wickets in hand in an Indian Premier League (IPL) clash here on Thursday.

After de Kock was dismissed for 61 off 45, things went tough for Lucknow as Ravindra Jadeja's yellow brigade were denying easy runs to the men in blue.

Things turned around in the last couple of overs when Lewis (unbeaten 55 off 23 balls) and Badoni (unbeaten 19 off nine balls) went all round the park for big hits to chase down the score.

Earlier Chennai, riding on Robin Uthappa's 50 off 27 balls and Shivam Dube's 49 off 30 balls, scored 210/7 in 20 overs.

While Lucknow registered their maiden win in the IPL, Chennai lost their second match on a trot this season.
