Leander Paes, Rajeev Ram, Benoit Paire, Borna Coric at Aircel Chennai Open

Chennai, Dec 28 (IBNS): The tennis action at South Asia’s only and India’s premier ATP tournament has just got more exciting. With a singles field that promises thrilling tennis, the doubles draw at the 20th edition of Aircel Chennai Open will see Leander Paes, Rajeev Ram, Benoit Paire and Borna Coric leading from the front.
The 2015 edition saw Leander Paes and partner Raven Klaasen as runners-up, losing to eventual champions Yen-Hsun Lu and Jonathan Marray. The 2016 edition will see both players with different partners, and many other exciting player combinations and match-ups. 
 
The top ten doubles pairings are:

6. Marcus Daniell (NZL) / Artem Sitak (NZL)

8. Aljaz Bedene, (GBR) / Yen-Hsun Lu (TPE) 
9. Philipp Oswald (AUT) / Adil Shamasdin (CAN)

With the above doubles advance entries already in, four direct acceptances will be signed on-site and two pairs will be awarded wild cards to play in the 20th edition of India’s most prestigious international tennis tournament. 
 
Season tickets for the event are available on sale at the venue 25th December onwards. Priced at INR 5000, 3000 and 1500, season tickets can also be booked exclusively on bookmyshow.com, the tournament's Official Ticketing Partner. ACO 2016 will witness an exceptional line-up of top talent at the US$ 480,000 prize money tournament. Cutting off at 98, the impressive player field for the region's most exciting and hard-fought tennis tournament will see World No. 4 Stan Wawrinka vying for a hat-trick of titles, Chennai-debutant World No. 12 Kevin Anderson, World No. 19, ATP's Comeback Player of the Year 2015 Benoit Paire, World No. 25 Roberto Bautista-Agut, along with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, Gilles Muller, Vasek Pospisil, Borna Coric, and Aljaz Bedene representing nine players from amongst the top 50 in the world.
