Jaipur, Mar 9(IBNS) Former Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi was on Monday removed from the post of president of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA).

Modi was impeached 17 votes to 1 in RCA's special EGM that witnessed  no confidence motion being moved against top four office bearers, including Modi as the association has been embroiled in a bitter factional fight between the Modi camp and the one led by Amin Pathan.

The faction led by Amin Pathan claimed that three other top office bearers were also removed by majority in the special EGM.
