Kolkata to host IPL opening on Apr 7

Mumbai, Apr 1 (IBNS) The Pepsi IPL 2015 Opening Nite will be held on Apr 7 at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

"Some of the big names in Bollywood will be performing at the event. The artistes’ names will be announced soon,"  BCCI secretary  Anurag Thakur said in a statement.

"The online ticket sales of the Pepsi IPL 2015 Opening Nite will commence at 5:00 pm (IST) on Wednesday, 1 April 2015, on www.iplt20.com and www.bookmyshow.com," he said.

The minimum price of the tickets will be Rs. 200.

"The box-office ticket sales will commence shortly," Thakur said.
