Kings XI Punjab beat Mumbai Indians

Mumbai, April 12 (IBNS) Kings XI Punjab sealed a comfortable 18-run win over Mumbai Indians as Axar Patel and Mitchell Johnson took two wickets each in the IPL match here.

A late flurry by Harbhajan Singh went in vain as Mumbai Indians' top order failed to click in and make any significant contribution.

The spinner's knock of 64 from 24 balls was only good enough to carry his team within 19 of the required target, in the end. He hit 6 sixes and 5 fours during his time at the crease.

Mumbai Indians had won the toss and decided to field first.

Sehwag(36) and Murali Vijay(35) provided Kings XI Punjab a strong start to the innings which was finished off in style by skipper George Bailey(61).

Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga took two wickets each for the Mumbai Indians.

It was Mumbai's second loss in as many matches whereas Kings XI Punjab registered their first win of IPL 2015.
