Kevin Pietersen praises Indian PM Narendra Modi for 'standing up' for protection of rhinos

| @indiablooms | Sep 24, 2021, at 11:30 pm

London: Former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen appreciated Indian PM Narendra Modi for “standing up” for the protection of rhinos.

Modi recently tweeted to praise the Assam government on its efforts to protect the one-horned rhino from poaching.

Pietersen asked other world leaders to emulate Modi.

"Thank you, @narendramodi! A global leader standing up for the planets rhino species! If only more leaders would do the same. And this is the reason why rhino numbers in India are rising exponentially!  What a hero!" Pietersen tweeted.
