Jhulan Goswami gets new task for Bengal cricket as mentor cum player for women team

Kolkata/UNI: Cricketer Jhulan Goswami has been appointed as the mentor cum player for Bengal women's team, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Avishek Dalmiya said.

"Jhulan Goswami will take up the role of mentor-cum-player for the Bengal women's team across all age groups," Dalmiya said in a statement Friday.

He said Jhulan will be overall mentor-cum-player for Bengal Women's Team, Arindam Das will take up the position of U-16 coach.

"Arindam Das will be the U-16 coach for the coming season. We will soon announce who will be his assistant." he added.

U-25 coach Pranab Roy will have Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya as his assistant.

Similarly, Sanjib Sanyal will assist U-19 coach Devang Gandhi, the CAB boss said.
