Srinagar: A unique and first of its kind Taekwondo demonstration in Snow was organized at Pahalgam on Monday.

The martial art activity is part of the 4-day Winter Sports activity being organized by MTC in collaboration with the Directorate of Tourism Kashmir.

Over 30 martial artists including girls and boys displayed their Taekwondo skills in the Snow-clad rink at Tourist Office Nunwan.

Assistant Director, Tourism Pahalgam, Bilal Ahmad said, “We have seen such martial art display in snow being performed by the Shaolin monks. To organise it here at Pahalgam in cold winter and that too in Snow is amazing and provides a unique opportunity to the budding martial artists to showcase their skills and improve their mental and physical strength.”
