IPL: Mumbai Indians beat KKR by 6 wickets

Kolkata, Apr 13 (IBNS) Kolkata Knight Riders received a jolt on a day when the city was hit by tremors as the local side lost to Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians by six wickets in an Indian Premier League match here on Wednesday.

Mumbai Indians reached 188 runs for the loss of four wickets after KKR scored 187 runs for five in their 20 overs.

Mumbai reached the target with five balls to spare with Rohit Sharma playing a captain's knock of 84 unbeaten runs ,hammering 10 boundaries and two sixes in his 54-ball knock.

Jos Buttler played a  quick-fire knock of 41 runs off 22 balls for Mumbai which helped the visitors at the end.

Kuldeep Yadav Piyush Chawla and Andre Russell picked up a wicket each.

Earlier, Gautam Gambhir (64),

Manish Pandey (52) and Russell (36) contributed with their willows which helped KKR post 187 on the scorecard.

New Zealand's Mitchell McClenaghan picked up two wickets for Mumbai.
