IPL: DD beat Gujarat Lions by 8 wickets

Rajkot, May 3 (IBNS): Delhi Daredevils crushed Gujarat Lions by eight wickets in an IPL match here on Tuesday.

After Gujarat posted 149 runs for the loss of seven wickets, Delhi reached 150 runs by losing two wickets with 15 balls to spare.

Delhi openers Quinton de Kock (46) and Rishabh Pant (69) posted 115 runs on the scorecard to give their side a strong start at the beginning and nearly reach the target.

After Kaushik and Ravindra Jadeja picked up their wickets, it was

Sanju Samson (19*) and JP Duminy (13*) who reached the target without further damage.

The Gujarat bowlers struggled in the match and failed to create a break at the crucial junctures in the match.

Earlier, riding on Dinesh Karthik's 53 runs, Gujarat posted 149 on the scoreboard.
