INDvENG: Virat Kohli set to miss rest three Tests against England, says report

| @indiablooms | Feb 08, 2024, at 10:53 pm

Mumbai/IBNS: India's star batter Virat Kohli withdrew himself from the first two of five Tests against England earlier citing personal reasons.

Now if reports are to be believed, Kohli is likely to give it a miss in the next three matches as well.

However, confirmation is yet to arrive from the cricket board (BCCI).

While Kohli's availability is still clouded, India's pace bowler Mohammed Siraj is likely to return ahead of the third Test.

While England stunned India with a dramatic win coming from behind in the first Test, Rohit Sharma's levelled the series 1-1 in the following match.

Despite the 'Bazball cricket' scare from England, India managed to clinch 106-run victory riding on Jasprit Bumrah's terrific bowling.

The third Test will be played in Rajkot from February 15-19.
