India's T20 World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh have welcomed a baby boy, media reports said.

Though there is still no confirmation regarding the exact time of birth, the couple is likely to make the announcement and share the news with the fans soon, NDTV reported.

Rohit and Ritika are already parents to Samaira.

She will turn six next month.

She was born in 2018.

Rohit missed the training session ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia since he took paternity leave to be by the side of his wife for the birth of their child.

The first test between India and Australia would begin in Perth on November 22.

India will be facing Australia after defeat in the home Test series against New Zealand.

Rohit and Ritika were married on December 13, 2015.
