India take 5th Australian wicket, Clarke departs

Sydney, Mar 26 (IBNS): Australia lost their fifth wicket as Mohit Sharma showed skipper Michael Clarke the door towards the pavilion as the home side lost quick three wickets in the second semi-final of the World Cup here on Thursday.

Mohit Sharma picked up the wicket of Clarke.

The Australia captain contributed 10 wickets with his willow.

Shane Watwon (5*) and James Faulkner  (1*) are currently at the crease with the hosts scoring 250 runs for the loss of five wickets after 43 overs.

Umesh Yadav has picked up three wickets while Sharma and Ashwin took one wicket apiece.

Steve Smith has top scored for the four-time World Champions with his 105 runs.

Australia earlier won the toss and decided to bat first.
