India restrict Zimbabwe at 168

Harare, June 11 (IBNS) In a series to taste India's young brigade, MS Dhoni's men bowled out Zimbabwe for 168 runs in 49.5 overs in the first ODI here on Saturday.

India bowlers bowled tight and did not give Zimbabwe much chance to open their arms and score fluently.

Zimbabwe batsmen struggled in front of the young Indian attack.

Losing wickets at regular intervals, Zimbabwe lacked the partnership that was needed to post big runs on the scorecard.

Elton Chigumbura remained the top scorer for the African side with his 41. He hit a boundary in his 65-ball knock.

Jasprit Bumrah picked up four wickets for India by giving away 28 runs in his 9.5 overs.
