Dubai, July 30 (IBNS): The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday said that after receiving legal submissions from the BCCI, it has accepted India's Ravindra Jadeja's request for an appeal against the recent decision by Match Referee David Boon.
The player was found guilty of an offence under Article 2.1.8 of the Code of Conduct and fined 50 per cent of his match fee.

The appeal will be heard at the same time as the disciplinary hearing taking place in respect of the charge against James Anderson on  Aug 1 in Southampton.

Gordon Lewis AM, will oversee proceedings via videoconference.

The ICC said it will make no further comment on this matter until the hearing is concluded.
