I am very hurt: Saina over not receiving promised cash award

Hyderabad, July 24 (IBNS): Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal on Thursday said she was 'very hurt' as she did not receive Rs.50 lakh cash award as was promised by the Andhra Pradesh state government for clinching the bronze medal at the London Olympics in 2012.

" I am very hurt and sad that I have still not received the cash award from my state for the Olympic bronze medal that I won for my country," she tweeted.

She had won the bronze medal in 2012 London Olympics.
