Dhoni's security downgraded

Ranchi, Aug 12 (IBNS): The Jharkhand Police's VIP security committee has decided to downgrade Indian cricket team skipper MS Dhoni's security from Z to Y category, media reports said on Tuesday.

"The decision to downgrade his security cover has been taken by a committee that is responsible for VIP security. It has been found that there is no perceived threat to him currently," state DGP Rajiv Kumar  was quoted as saying by The Times of India.

He said the cricketer would continue to get "adequate security" whenever he visits Jharkhand.

Dhoni is currently leading the national side in a Test series against England.
