Dhoni praises Indian bowlers for their performance

Hamilton, Mar 10 (IBNS): After registering his side's fifth consecutive win the World Cup, Indian skipper MS Dhoni on Tuesday appreciated the performance of his bowlers and said they were doing the job for the team.

"The bowlers are really doing the job for us," Dhoni said after the match.

"It's a remarkable difference, they've really stepped up. Not just the three fast bowlers, the spinners as well, and whenever we've had to use part-timers they've done a good job. Looks like a happy unit," he said.

Speaking on the match against Ireland, he said: "Even this game was a challenge, a lot of them are jetlagged and sleep-deprived. I'm glad all of us have stepped up. It feels good."

India defeated Ireland by eight wickets in a World Cup clash on Tuesday to maintain the top p position in the Pool B.
