Delhi Daredevils beat Kings XI Punjab

Pune, April 15 (IBNS) Delhi Daredevils sealed a 5-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab at an Indian Premier League match here on Wednesday as Yuvraj Singh returns to form with a brilliant 55-run knock.

Yuvraj Singh came to bat at number 4 and scored 55 off 39 balls with a strike rate of 141. His knock included 3 sixes and 5 fours.

Singh returned to form strongly with this clash and his team will expect him to fire in the rest of the tournament.

Delhi Daredevils opener Mayank Agarwal, who was the other star of the run-chase, scored 68 off 48 balls as he hit 7 fours and 2 sixes during his time at the crease as they took the field to chase down a target of 166 runs.

Axar Patel and Anureet Singh picked up two wickets each for the losing team.

Earlier in the match, Kings XI Punjab opener Virender Sehwag(47) and wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha(39) were the only ones to show some promise with the bat as no other batsman could cross the 20-run mark.

Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers for Delhi Daredevils. He notched up three wickets in four overs.

JP Duminy also took two wickets for the Daredevils.
