Mumbai/IBNS: A four-wicket haul by Kuldeep Yadav and significant contributions from the batters helped Delhi Capitals outplay Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here Thursday.

Batting first, Kolkata once again suffered a disastrous batting performance with limited contributions from the top order.

Nitish Rana (57 off 34 balls) and captain Shreyas Iyer (42 off 37 balls) were the only batsmen who helped Kolkata reach 146/9 in 20 overs.

Delhi spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav did Kolkata's major damage picking four wickets for 14 in three overs.

Despite a poor start and regular fall of wickets, David Warner (42 off 26 balls) and Rovman Powell (33 off 16 balls) powered Delhi to chase down the target with one over left.

With the defeat, Kolkata is now at the eighth position with five consecutive losses in as many matches.
