Davis Cup: Bangalore to host India-Serbia clash

Bangalore, Apr 28 (IBNS): India's Davis Cup World Group playoff tie against Serbia will be held in Bangalore city in September this year.

Bangalore will witness the two sides competing each  Sept 12 to Sept 14.

"India's Rohan Bopanna will play against Serbia in his home town of Bangalore, while Ukraine takes on Belgium in Kiev as September's World Group play-off venues start to be confirmed," daviscup.com said.

"The Indians have chosen an outdoor hard court at the KSLTA Tennis Stadium in the southern city of Bangalore for the visit of 2010 Davis Cup champions Serbia, who could be led by world No. 2 Novak Djokovic," it said.
