Dubai/IBNS: Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Eoin Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will lock horns in the mega final of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 here Friday.

In the playoffs, CSK defeated Delhi Capitals to become the first team to reach the final.

In the playoffs, KKR defeated Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and then Morgan's team reached the final beating DC in a last-over thriller in an otherwise one-sided match.

So far, CSK have won the IPL title thrice (2010, 2011 and 2018) while KKR have lifted the trophy two times (2012 and 2014).

The match will begin at 7:30 pm IST.
