CSK beat Kings by 7 wickets

Chandigarh, May 16 (IBNS) Chennai Super Kings moved to the top of the table by registering a seven wickets victory against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League clash here on Saturday.

Restricting Kings at 130 runs for seven, CSK reached 134 ruins by losing three wickets with 19 balls to spare.

South African Faf du Plessis smashed 55 while Suresh Raina (41*) and MS Dhoni (25*) made crucial contributions which helped the side reach the target easily.

Plessis hit five boundaries and a six in his knock.

Despite losing the wickets of Mike Hussey (1) and Brendon McCullum (6), the rest managed to reach the score without facing much troubles.

Axar Patel (32) and  Rishi Dhawan (25)'s late surge helped Kings post a more than 100 runs on the scorecard.
