BCCI names India squad for remaining two Tests of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 against Australia, no comeback for Jasprit Bumrah

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced the Indian team which will play the remainder of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 and star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was named in it.

pacer Jaydev Unadkat, however, made a return to the squad after missing the second Test in Delhi due to Ranji Trophy final commitment.

India defeated Australia in the second Test match of the series to take 2-0 lead.

The next two matches will be played in Indore (Mar 1-5) and Ahmedabad (Mar 9 -13).

India's three-match ODI series against the former World Champions will commence on Mar 17 in Mumbai.

The second ODI will be held in Vizag on Mar 19 and the third in Chennai on Mar 22.

Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the first ODI due to family commitments and Hardik Pandya will lead the side in the first ODI.

India’s Test squad for third and fourth Test against Australia: Rohit Sharma (Captain), K L Rahul, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, KS Bharat (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Umesh Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat.

India’s ODI squad against Australia: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, K L Rahul, Ishan Kishan (wk), Hardik Pandya (Vice-captain), Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohd.
