BCCI inducts new umpires

Mumbai, Oct 29 (IBNS) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday, inducted its fresh batch of umpires.

The BCCI National Academy of Umpires in Nagpur certified 19 new members amongst the 57 candidates who appeared in the Level Two theory exam, conducted by former ICC Elite Panelist Simon Taufel.

The 19 members, before their inclusion, went through a training spree under the guidance of Simon Taufel and Denis Burns.
