Australia in comfortable position in Sydney Test, ahead of India by 197 runs

Sydney/IBNS: After bowling out India for 244, Australia scored 103/2 at stumps on day 3 of the third Test positioning themselves in a comfortable position in the match.

Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith are unbeaten at 47 and 29 respectively.

David Warner and Will Pucovski were dismissed for 13 and 10 respectively.

The two Australian wickets have been picked by India's Mohammed Siraj and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Earlier, Australia bowled out India for 244 taking a handsome lead in the first innings.

Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten at 28 unbeaten while Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill contributed 50 runs each in the Indian innings.

Pat Cummins picked up four wickets as he remained the top of the Australian bowling attack.

Earlier Steve Smith played yet another heroic innings of 131 runs which helped Australia post 338 runs in the first innings of the third Test match against India here on Friday.
