Australia beat India by six wickets to clinch sixth World Cup title

Riding on Travis Head's heroic 137 runs knock, Australia defeated India by six wickets in the World Cup final to win the 50-over title for the sixth time on Sunday.

After bowling out India for 240 runs, the Australian batsmen reached the target of 241 runs by losing four wickets.

Apart from Head, Marnus Labuschagne played a match-winning knock of unbeaten 58 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets for India.
