Atletico de Kolkata signs in Indian midfielder Mohammed Rafique
Kolkata, Nov 4 (IBNS): Atletico de Kolkata, on Wednesday signed Indian midfielder Mohammed Rafique, who had scored the most-important goal in the last minutes to help the team win the title for the first edition of the tournament.
Rafique will be replacing Lalchhawnkima in the Atletico de Kolkata team.
He will start practicing with the team tomorrow 5th November onwards.
“I welcome Rafique to the squad. I feel he will continue to prove his determination to perform in the ongoing tournament alike last season. His recent performances surely have keeping him match ready. I look forward to work with him,” Antonio Lopez Habas, Head Coach, Atlético de Kolkata.
“I am happy to be part of Atletico de Kolkata for the second season. I’m looking forward to play for this brilliant team and put forward my best to fulfill the expectations of the team placed in me,” Mohammed Rafique,Midfielder, Atlético de Kolkata.
