Angelique Kerber stuns Serena Williams to win Australian Open title

Melbourne, Jan 30 (IBNS): Germany's Angelique Kerber stunned top seed Tennis star Serena Williams in the final of the Australian Open to lift the title here on Saturday.

Kerber won her maiden Grand Slam title by beating her American  opponent  6-4 3-6 6-4 in the Women's Singles final.

Williams lost the oppurtunity to win the seventh Melbourne singles title.
