Hyderabad/IBNS: After decimating Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team will now be up for the Kiwi challenge in a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand beginning on Wednesday.

The first ODI will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

Ahead of the ODI series, India suffered a blow in the form of Shreyas Iyer, who has been ruled out of all three matches due to back injury.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Rajat Patidar as replacement for Iyer.

The match will begin at 1:30 IST.
