Adam Zampa named in Australian ODI squad for series against NZ

Melbourne, Jan 25 (IBNS): The Cricket Australia on Monday named leg-spinner Adam Zampa in its 14-member squad for the upcoming three-match Chappell-Hadlee series against New Zealand.

Zampa was selected in the team in place of off-spinner Nathan Lyon.

The Cricket Australia website said selectors want to prepare Lyon for the Test series that follows the ODIs.

"We want Nathan to use the NSW versus West Australia Sheffield Shield match in New Zealand as preparation for the Test Series and this will give us a chance to have a good look at Adam ahead of the ICC World T20," National Selector Rod Marsh was quoted as saying by CA website.
