Virat Kohli returns a skipper for limited overs series against Australia
New Delhi, Feb 15 (IBNS): Indian skipper Virat Kohli has returned to the squad for the limited overs series against Australia.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squads for the ODI and T20 series against Australia.
India will play a two-match T20 series against Australia which will start in Vishakapatnam on Feb 24.
A five-match ODI series between the two teams will be played later on from Mar 2.
Ahead of the upcoming World Cup 2019, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have been added to the T20 and ODI teams.
Rahul was brought back from Australian series midway after his comments in a popular TV show triggered a controversy.
After suspension on him was lifted by the BCCI, KL Rahul was first added to the India A against England Lions in the two unofficial Tests which concluded on Friday.
Dinesh Karthik, however, could not find a place in the squads.
Kohli did not captain the side in the last ODIs against New Zealand.
India defeated Australia in the ODI series recently in played in the foreign tour.
The T20 series remained levelled at 1-1.
