Mount Maunganui, Jan 26 (IBNS): A couple of powerful knocks from Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan powered India to set 325 as target for New Zealand to win the second ODI match here on Saturday.

Riding on Sharma's 87 and Dhawan's 66, India scored 324/4 in 50 overs.

Continuing his good form from Australia, Mahendra Singh Dhoni remained unbeaten after playing an aggressive knock of 33-ball 48.

Skipper Virat Kohli and Ambati Rayudu made significant contributions with their respectively innings of 43 and 47.

Kedar Jadhav played a cameo by scoring 22 off 10 balls lower down the innings.

Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson shared two wickets each.

India are leading the five-match ODI series 1-0.
