Bangalore, Apr 14 (IBNS): AB de Villiers smashed 57 runs as he helped Royal Challengers Bangalore defeat Kings XI Punjab by four wickets in an Indian Premier League match here on Friday.
Kings posted 155 runs and then it was RCB who dominated the proceedings as the South African played one memorable knock which helped them reach 159 runs for the loss of six wickets with four balls to spare.
AB de Villiers hammered two boundaries and four sixes in his 40-ball knock.
Quinton de Kock added 45 runs with his willow to give RCB a positive start at the beginning of the innings.
Earlier, KL Rahul played a crucial knock of 47 runs to post 155 runs on the scorecard.
Umaesh Yadav picked up three wickets for RCB.
