Karthik, Nehra return to Indian squad against Australia in T20 series

Mumbai, Oct 2 (IBNS): Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik and senior fast bowler Ashish Nehra, have returned to the Indian team to play the three-match T20 series against Australia.

India have defeated Australia in the five-match ODI series 4-1.

The men-in-blue will take on the Aussies in the T20 series from October 7.

The Indian team for the T20 series: Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra, Axar Patel.

The three matches will be played in Ranchi, Guwahati and Hyderabad on October 7, 10 and 13 respectively.
